Janice LaPorte: Painter

Though drawn to realism, I am fascinated by abstract art and its ability to convey meaning and emotion through shape and color. I also appreciate how it lends itself to many interpretations, depending on who is seeing it. Both realism and abstraction appeal to me; I can’t decide between them, so I do both.
